Theresa M. Sterbis, AKBD

Theresa founded Project Partners, inc in April, 1999 after stepping out of a corporate officership to pursue a life-long passion for interior design. She is degreed both as an engineer and interior designer. Being trained in both the analytical and creative fields, Theresa meticulously focuses on the details that turn a good design into a great design. She approaches all design projects with a rare eye that enables her to deliver creative designs that both look beautiful and function well once installed.

Theresa has travelled and worked extensively in all corners of the globe. She has a great awareness of global details and has first-hand experience in the study of different design approaches and techniques used around the world.

Theresa's work has been published in a variety of publications including "Distinctive Kitchen Solutions" (2009), "Woman's Day Kitchens and Baths" (2008), "Designer Kitchens and Custom Cabinetry XI" (2008), "Kitchens by Professional Designers XX" (2007), "Designer Baths V" (2007), "Designer Kitchens, Baths and Other Rooms X" (2007), and more.

Theresa has her AKBD (Associate Kitchen and Bath Design) certification from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). Theresa is proud to have won two Finalist Awards in the 2002 Design Vision contest sponsored by the Chicago Midwest Chapter of NKBA.

Alison McLaughlin

Alison is degreed in mass communications with a specialty in advertising. When Alison joined Project Partners in 2002, she was new to the construction process and cabinetry design, but her background in the graphic arts and desktop publishing quickly translated into a solid CAD drafting ability.

Alison's strong attention to detail is a great asset for both Project Partners and the builder. Her ability to proofread enables her to spot issues and head them off in advance when it comes to ordering, editing and the preparation of coded plans for the installers.

Alison also acts as back-up office manager when Theresa is not available.

Kathy Wiercinski

Kathy retired from a corporate career in customer service and account management and went back to the classroom to pursue a love for interior design. She is degreed both in business management and interior design. Kathy also holds a license in real estate. She approaches design with a consideration for functionality as well as resale value.

Before joining Project Partners in 2003, Kathy worked directly on staff for a builder guiding clients through the selection process and coordinating selections in the field.

Laurie Flight

Laurie has worked in a variety of fields in the construction business ranging from highway construction with the State of Wisconsin to HVAC design for residential and commercial structures. She is a degreed civil engineer from Marquette University.

Laurie has a strong background in CAD drafting and loves the engineering details of cabinetry design. Her attention to detail shows in the precision of her CAD drawings which benefit both builder and installer.
